How do I fund a new account?

Link an external bank in the app and pull funds by ACH, set up direct deposit, or receive an incoming wire. Your account and routing numbers are shown on the account's “Receive money” panel.

When are my deposits available?

Most electronic deposits and direct deposits are available the same or next business day. Mobile check deposits are typically available the next business day; larger checks may have a short hold, which we tell you at the time.

How do I set up direct deposit?

Give your employer your Halden account number and routing number (121000358), or use the pre-filled direct-deposit form in Settings. Many people get paid up to two days early.

What are the mobile check deposit limits?

Standard limits are $5,000 per check and $10,000 per day. Limits may be higher for established accounts; you can see yours in the deposit screen.

How do I dispute a charge?

From Support, choose “Dispute a charge,” or freeze the card and call us. We will open the dispute, provisionally credit eligible transactions under Regulation E, and keep you updated.

How do I order checks?

Request a checkbook from Settings → Documents, or call support. Official/cashier's checks are free and can be issued on request.

How do I freeze my card?

Open Cards, select the card, and toggle Freeze. It blocks new charges at the terminal instantly and you can unfreeze the same way.

How is my money protected?

Deposits are insured by the FDIC up to $250,000 per depositor, per ownership category. See Security for how we protect your account and how to protect yourself.

How do I close my account?

Contact support or visit a location. There is no early-closure fee. We will help you move any remaining balance and direct deposits first.

I'm locked out — what now?

Use “Forgot password” to reset by email, or call support to verify your identity. We will never ask for your full password or a one-time code.
