Website terms of use

By using haldenbank.com you agree to use it lawfully, not to interfere with its operation or security, and that content is provided “as is” for information. Product terms in the agreements below control over any summary on the site.

Deposit Account Agreement

Your deposit accounts are governed by the Deposit Account Agreement, which covers how deposits and withdrawals are handled, funds availability, statements, fees (see the fee schedule), interest and APY (see rates), your and our responsibilities, and error resolution. Because Halden declines rather than authorises transactions that would overdraw an account, there is no overdraft or NSF fee.

Online & Mobile Banking Agreement

This agreement covers electronic access to your accounts: your login credentials and one-time codes, permitted transfers and their limits, mobile check deposit, alerts, and your duty to keep your credentials secure and to tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.

Electronic disclosures consent (E-Sign)

When you enroll, you consent to receive account disclosures, statements and notices electronically. You may withdraw consent or request paper copies at any time by contacting us; hardware and software requirements are described during enrollment.

Error resolution (Regulation E)

For electronic fund transfers, tell us at once if you believe there is an error or your account has been accessed without authorisation. If you tell us within the timeframes in your agreement, we will investigate and, where required, provisionally credit your account while we do.

Dispute resolution

The account agreements describe how disputes are handled, including any arbitration provision and your right to opt out of it within the stated period.

Full executed agreements are provided at account opening and are available on request. This page summarises them and does not replace them. See also Privacy and Disclosures.
